210 gal - What is the best skimmer?

I have a 210 gal skimmer and use a ALF Predator 1 skimmer (outside sump).

What do you in sump or outside sump recommend as a good skimmer?

My stand has a 29.5 inch height. I am thinking about remodeling the equipment, since I have a wet-dry that does not allow me to do the things I would like to do under the cabinet. I would also like to add a refugium in the stand. As part of the remodeling, I am also considering maybe to upgrade the skimmer.

I have a mixed reef, but mostly SPS.

Any help or thoughts are appreciated.

Second for Aqua-C. I used an EV-240 on my 180 with 40G (25G of water in it) sump and 20G fuge. Works great. Remember to consider total water volume, including sump and fuge. You may need to step um to their next size, but I reccomend the EV series none-the-less.

After all my research here on RC for my same sized tank, I have narrowed it down to, but still debating b/w

ATI BM 250 ( 800.00) and the H&S A250 -2x1260 (1600.00).

I had an Aqua C ev 120 for my prev. 92 gal tank and could never get it to work, and won't buy another.

I am currently using a ASM G3 and it can't handle this size tank.

i have a 210 reef i use the Euro reef RS-180 i love it

Depending on bioload, the 180 would be too small. I would go with the EuroReef RS250

it depends on your budget. If you have the money, you could go with a bubble master, H&S, euroreef, deltec, or a volcano from Spazz. They are the top of the line.

I used to use a EV180 on my 210, it worked great but i just purchased a Schuran 150 because i wanted to buy something new for the tank. Can't say if the Schuran is good but the AquaC is a champ.
