I personally used plasti-dip, but I wish I would have gone the route of using the dark black limo tint instead.

I painted the backs and sides of my TTM and QT tanks using rustoleum from Lowes and just rolled it on with a cheaper foam roller from the dollar store.

I spray painted mine with leftover Fusion but really the way to go is with Plasti-Dip. You can easily just peel off the sheet if you ever want to sell the tank or change the look of it for any reason.

I've used tint on numerous tanks, looks good and can be removed easily.

I used the paint below. My wife found it at the local walmart in the crafts department. It took three coats and looks great.
If I accidentally scratch it I cover the scratch with black electrical tape and all is good.
Just in case picture doesnt show up its Apple Barrel brand 2171E Black Matte Acrylic Paint.

Im gonna look into the other things yall mentioned .. but is this the plasti-dip yall recommended??

Exactly. Plan on getting a few cans, it doesn't hide all that well. Also plan on letting it dry several times longer than regular spray paint - the solvents in that stuff are pretty wicked.
