I am planning a 215 build in wall with a basement filter room.
This will be a new house and would like to have the overflows from tank to join by a '' t'' fitting to a 2'' return, so I only have to drill one hole in the floor for the drain.
I have a barracudda sequence pump for the return and would like to run the 1 1/2'' pipe from the basement and have that ''t'' off then reduced under the tank so there is only one hole for that as well.
I will be using two vortechs for circulation
My question is; would the 2'' drain size be enough to handle the flow? The sump will be about 5' foot offset from the tank.
Thanks.
