So this is the start of my Oceanic 22 gallon cube nano tank. Here is what that tank currently has.
maxijet 1200
Aquaclear 30
Viper 70w HQI MH
25# of "live" sand (not really live)
The Maxijet will be my main flow, until I get my nano tunze in (stupid backorder).
The aquaclear 30 currently have 2 sponges in it while I am disrupting everything. This is just to clear up the much in the water from the sand. After things are settled it will have macro algee in it.
The light is pretty self explanitory. I went with a 70w instead of the 150w due to heat, and I'm not going to have SPS.
The sand is the really super expensive "Live sand in a bag". I know it is useless, but I really liked the color and size of it, and i didn't need to much since it is only a nano tank. BTW it is the white with black in it. I also put down egg crate under the sand since my rock will be going down on the bottom, and the sand around the rest. I have 20 more lbs of sand to add after the rock is in if needed.
Now a few pics. There wasn't a whole lot to take a picture of, so here are three pics. I will have more pics this weekend, as I have 45# of live rock coming in from International Marine Fish.
