22 Gallon Nano - 1 year old

This is my first reef tank. I started it last year on a very limited budget. My father-in-law found the Perfecto flat back hex at an auction for $10. I added a hinged custom cut glass top, a 24" Satellite 130 watt PC and a Tetratec to complete the system.

20# of live rock and play sand. Later 20 snails, a conch, purple fire fish, percula clown and a blood shrimp. Tank stayed that way until the Holidays and my birthday.

With my collection of "Fish Certificates" to my favorite LFS I've added a yellow twin spot wrasse, one big ricordia with two tiny freebies, some orange/brown zoo's, some elephant skin along with some more freebies (pulsing xenia) and frog spawn.

Finally the tank doesn't look empty. I think this is about it. I did just add an open brain (red/green) to the front beach. Looking forward to everything growing and spending a lot of time planning a bigger tank.

Thank you Crazylegs and Blinky. I forgot to add that my wife found and refinished the oak dresser the tank sits on. Test kits and supplies in the bottom drawer. Candles and linens above. The power strip and timers sit on the floor under the drawers. I replaced the wall outlet with a GFCI. Mom and Dad gave me a CPR over the Holidays too. The Tetratec may be overkill at this point but I do like running carbon.
