seven before i say anything i want to tell you that your tank is beautiful after saying that i must warn you that with those yellow polyps you have in the picture up top you are flirting with fire. I have had some of my own and they are real nice till they start killing everything in your tank i am just warning you that these are crazy fast growers and are very poisonous to ALL other coral . Just becareful with them ok because they can really run a muck. very nice looking tank though

I am planning on keep mushrooms, and a few soft coral.
I have read that they are aggresive. However I think to myself that little thing look like it cant harm a fly :D

So I should get rid of them?
Are they harmfull to other zoos?

just start pruning htem early.. if you let them get past 6inch by 6 inch size they become a pita to keep upwith
also they can shed the polyps and make new colonys...

and yes i have some in my tank and am glad to say,... so far they stay put

1- Soft Coral that the ends look like a hammer

Frogspawn is the name of that coral if it is the one in your most recent pic. Great setup, looks like you are of to a great start.

The UV wattage you have selected is way too low for a 220. Depending on flow rate, it may kill algae but never parasite which is what ICH is. Just look at the Aqua website for the efficacy of their products by wattage. I had a 25 watt and returned it for a 40 watt.

I pick that uv light because it stated it was good for up to 250 Gallon tank.

Here is the info from there website. Is this incorect then?
Should I purchased a bigger one

To accommodate the 18 watt Turbo-Twist , you will need a powerhead, pump or canister filter with a flow rate of 200 to 400 gallons per hour. The flow rate needs to be low enough to provide the appropriate exposure dosage, but high enough to treat the entire volume of the aquarium with appropriate frequency. When the proper flow rate is attained, the 18 watt Turbo-Twist is suitable for use with aquariums up to 250 gallons.

Just Recieved these goodies from saltwater.com
