220gal Reef For Sale

Over $12,000 invested, selling for $4,000. The tank is currently built into the wall, there is no stand or canopy. It is a 220 gallon tank with built in overflows. 72 1/2 long x 22 1/4 tall x 24 deep. What you see is what you get along with the following items...

* wet/dry filter
* 55gal refugium
* 2 protein skimmers
* red sea wave pro wave maker
* 3 x 400 W metal halide
* 6ft VHO
* RO unit

Are you sure on those dimensions? That's < 180 gallons???

My husband says it's a 210 gallon (sorry). And being that it's in the wall, getting accurate measurements is going to be difficult. I'll check them myself tomorrow, and repost if necessary.

I'm sticking with 220 gallon. The measurements I got were 72.5 long, 29.25 tall, and 24.5 wide.

L X W X H in inches / 231 so 72.5 X 22.25 = 1613.125 X 24 = 38,715 / 231 =167.5974 gallons!!!

a 180 is 72 X 24 X 24

a 210 is 72 X 24 X 29

You calculated the wrong dimensions there. It's 72.5 X 24.5 = 1776.25 X 29.25 = 51955.3125 / 231 = 224.914 Gallons.

Wow, we're still arguing about volume. I'm sure when you take into consideration the thickness of the glass and the space the built in overflows takes up, you're still looking at 210 to 220. .

Your right Caleb, I went of the original dimensions in the first post, I did not notice the corrected dimensions in the follow up post. That is great, I was wondering were they got a glass tank that size. So 210 it is

Dang second week of September....I am on the market for some coral, but I may be interested still by then. Depends if I buy any this weekend. I am getting tired of having an empty tank lol.
