22K + build

Yes, to answer your question, the big pool will be for my wife and the kids for a couple of years. At the same time, I have plumbed it with 4 inch tubes for jets/water flow, made the steps as small as possible and it has a minimum depth of 46 inches. Eventually going to add corner inserts. For now I will be moving my collection to the addition being built.

Because of the weather, the deck was poured yesterday. I tried to grab a pic but the sun was setting. I unfortunately leave for work before the sun comes up and don't get back home until it is dark.

I'm a little convused, are we watching a swimming pool build, or a reef build? Plz forgive me, but the last pic threw me off???

If it's really all just a swimming pool build, that would be the most awesome trolling ever. :)

I don't know your relationship with your family, but once the kids are splashing around that pool at my house, that battle is lost. Sharks wouldn't be in there until the kids have all left for college.

Still, I say, why can't it be both at the same time?

You guys are kinda idiots. He is making a smaller lagoon behind the pool as well. And did say the pool won't be used for several years so ya basically its been a pool build thread as of now...

Hummm or was he being facetious?

If you look through his history you will see that he has talked to others on shark keeping.

I think he was making a joke. But time will tell.

His hosting account may have filled and had to delete some items because they are not ALL gone.

EDIT:
OOPs...

they are all gone now aren't they?

Unbelievable, YES!

For real? This guy is gone!

How am I gonna get all the time I spent following this thread, back?

You need to start building a pool for sharks now in his place. It's really the only sensible answer. Please post your progress in this thread.

Edit: Don't tell your wife until after the sharks are in, otherwise she might turn it into a family pool.

As it looks he decided to come back and keep us posted. Ive been folowing this thing since the beginning and I still find it awe inspiring to have the addition built with the lagoons and have the pool set up for the easy transition to a shark pool down the line.

If keeping the pool for the wife/kids for a while will keep the wife/kids happy, then its a very small price to pay for such an exciting addition to the home. Im sure Al will get plenty of enjoyment in his pool watching the lagoon.

Keep posting Al, I'll keep living vicariously.

Alprazo,

It is very difficult to live vicariously through you if there are no updates.

c'mon... people staring at computers need you.
