24 Hour Lighting Schedule

I am waiting on my EG IT2060 LED to arrive and I am looking for some suggestions for the 24 hour sunrise sunset configuration. I want to start the lights out lower power and work the brightness up for coral acclimation. I am sure that myself and others with similar lighting systems would appreciate the info.

Also, how high above the tank would you suggest hanging the fixture over a 46g bowfront for maximum coverage? Thanks.

Whatever height works for you to get full coverage at the bottom of the tank.

I run mine pale blue to white in the AM and then increasingly blue as the even sets in. I start and end mime a bit early as my schedule is a bit odd and I really don't get to see the tank much in the evening.
