24+" Zebra eel NE Ohio, 44425

It kills it me to do this but it just wouldn't be right for me to try to keep it in a 40g long. So I have to sell it. I have had it for maybe 3yrs now. I bought it off of divers den at 18". It was bigger. It is now between 26"-30" I think, I never measured though. I have 2" pvc pipe that he hangs out in, and have some 3" pipe that I was going to use for his new home all will come with the eel. I also have a bunch of food. $75.00 for my baby and you must have a good home.

yes, it eats frozen. I mainly feed shell on raw shrimp but also feed squid, scallops, pieces of smelt or other fish flesh. It is not safe with shrimp, but is considered to be one of the more "reef safe" eels. It doesn't eat fish, so you don't have to worry about it grabbing your prized wrasse.
