If your looking for a larger reef tank this is it!
It was originally purchased in September of 2004 from Glasscages.com
It is 240 Gal and measures 96†x 24’ x 24’ (yes that’s 8 feet long)
It’s all glass and has two glass overflows with plastic protective covers. It comes with a custom built stand and canopy as shown in the picture. In the canopy there are 4 PC 50/50 Actinic/White 36†bulbs with reflectors and electronic ballasts. There are also 4 Mogul base spider reflectors with 250 watt 14K bulbs in each fixture. (ballast not included)
In the base there is a home built sump measuring 16†x 16†x 48†that includes two Quiet one 3000 pumps used as the main pumps. All the associated ball valves and plumbing goes with the tank.
In the tank there is currently between 2â€Ââ€"œ 4†of CaribSea Aragonite Substrate and an estimated 75 Lbs of live rock. There is also 4 fish that you have to take with you because I won’t have any place for them.
I have decided to get out for a while because I don’t have time to properly care for it any more. You need to be able to pick it up in the Summer Ave and Highland area of Memphis, TN. For now I am keeping all my other equipment (skimmer, calcium reactor, controller, etc)
