25 Gallon Mixed Reef (Picture Intensive)

Hello fellow reefers. I had my tank thread posted in "reef discussion" for awhile, but I thought it would be nicer to post it here also, so that you can all see my tank.
Some of the water from this tank is from a 10 gallon FO tank that I set up about 1.5 years ago. From there, I upgraded to a 20 gallon FOWLR, and then to a 25 gallon reef. It has been a long process, but I think I am finally happy with my tank. The reason for the transfer between the 20 and the 25 was because the 25 is drilled. So, without further blabbing, here is by 25 gallon mixed reef:

(this picture was taken awhile back, please ignore the lack of corals and water ;) )

Except for the updated FTS, that is it. I hope you all enjoy. Please ask any questions or comment. I will honor any suggestions.

They are green yumas, but were being blasted by DE 250w MH's. They will color up a little more green under less light.

puffer,
i could be wrong, yet those shrooms in your pic are shirley YUMA's.....
i have green frilly shrooms as well and they look way differnt then then those......almost look like ricordia's.

Okay here is the updated FTS. The camera wasn't working very well, so I had to photo-edit all of the glare out of the pic. It still doesn't represent what it looks like up close.

You might be able to tell from the picture above that the right pvc output is shading the acro below it. Is this okay. I have noticed some growth on it. Most of the colony doesn't have the blue/purple color that the growths have. Can anyone explain why? The growths are blue but the rest of the colony is brown with blue hue.

I have a few updates:

#1 - I recently had a large caulerpa and hair algae problem. My whole tank was covered. I purchased Chemi-pure and added that to my sump. I also got a AquaC Remora Skimmer with a Mag 3 attatched. After these brought the nitrates down to zero, I scrubbed all of the rocks thoroughly. There are still a few pieces of algae here and there, but I will take care of them soon.

#2 - My RBTA split! Yes, I know, it isn't a good thing. My Mag 7 was pumping air when I was sleeping, and I woke up to a well oxygenated tank, and 2 anemones. I stopped it from moving around using a big shell.

#3 - I painted the pvc pipes black, so that they match better and algae doesn't grow on them.

Pictures will be up as soon as the camera is available.

Yeah those are 100% yumas from the pattern and the mouth give it away. Nice tank keep the updates when tank matures.

Every yuma I've ever had has melted in my tank. Well, whatever they are, they're multiplying, while all the others have melted away.

Pufferpunk do you have another pic of your Rics I can tell what they are. From your pics its hard to tell. I have both species in my tank and the pacific ones grow like weeds I need to thin them out. On the other hand my Florida rics never reproduce. Dont meen to Hijack this thread.

Very weird... cause I can't keep yumas alive in my tank! They get that big & multiply like that? They don't split, just leave babies behind on the rock.
