I started this tank build in August about 2.5 months ago. after consulting few people over here at RC, I finally started this build in Garage(Minnesota). as of now I do not have heater in the garage but it will get installed in next week or so. but till today even though we have seen temp in 30's garage is holding the temp well @ 72. NO PH issue, initially my ph was not stable but after stablizing the mg, alk, and calcium. ph stays around 7.98 ~ 8.06 in the night.

Here is the Tank Description.

It gets pretty freakin' cold in Minnesota during the winter... I stood out in that cold for 12 to 18 hours at a time on some jobs I worked on.

What about opening your garage door and losing all your heat every time? It seems that would be a concern...

On edit... sure looks nice, though...

We never park our our cars inside. atleast if I remember it's been more than 4 years. my garage is more like a extra playground for me and my daughter :lolspin:
So far everything looks good from the heat stand point. Garage is well insulated and holding the heat, I am sure once I have the heater installed in the garage it will be much better. I was little worried about Ph issue but looks like that is solved too.
