Hey guys. I'm going to do an official build but I thought I would share so pics with the club first.

For the people that don't know me, my name is Jay DiMucci. I was almost out of reefing. Between Sandy and moving into a new house I lost a lot of live stock. I'm a contractor and I didn't have time to sleep last year with all the Sandy work. Add a new born baby girl to the mix and as you can see my reef keeping time was very limited. I thought I was throwing in the towel.

Than my baby girl went to fish tank was even though it looked like hell at this point she absolutely loved it. Well the rest is history. Let the 250 deep dimension in wall bar begin.

This is a pic of my old tank.

I get a lot of questions in regards to my user name. Here is the back story. When I was setting up my accountant I was watching dumber and dumber. They wanted to open a pet store named we got worms. Thus we got crabs was formed. I think it's funny but some don't seem to share in my humor. Anyway that's how it came to be. Enjoy the pics.

This is where I am today. I need to spackle and paint wall and install custom moldings. Hopefully this thing will be cycled next week. I'm getting very bored looking at an empty tank.

I did a combination. I used hydronic cement on the bottom 2 rows. This will emilinate avalanches. Rescaping this tank is hard when is filled up bc of its depth. I left the top rocks lose so I can move them around depending on coral placement.

Thanks everyone. Im are going to start the wood working this weekend. My favorite thing I did on this build so far was putting the lights on a rails system. Makes working on the tank from the back so easy.
