250W Plusrite 14k MH-DE Anyone Use?

Hey so I happened upon one of these:

anyone ever use them? ANy good, Im gonna throw it in my fixture, I need to replace mine anyways.

I refuse to use cheap bulbs but there are people who have used them. Do a search on Plusrite and you should find some.

I would not say don't waste your money, but the reviews are all over the place on them...

Cheap is cheap for a reason, you may get lucky and have a batch that work great or you may get a batch that don't.

well i didnt spend any money on them, so im gonna give it a whirl. My buddy sold his tank and had it lying around, and swore by them, he had gorgeous brain, blastos, and a few sps.

I actually used them for 3 years or so. Used them in a 175w se and a 250w de. Grew out a mixed reef real nice for me. Even had them stuffed in a cheap odyssea fixture! Use to get my off of ebay...light spectrum enterprises.

thanks robsk... haha i prob have the very same odyssea fixture.. saving up for dual radeons eventually....
