250W vs 400w

hey everyone,
i've got 3-250W's over my 225gal and was thinking of changing two of them to 400W. How much should i expect my temp to go up? right now my tank is 77.5-79.5 w/o a chiller.

why go to 400? you only need that much light if your tnak is over 30" tall

i wanted to do 400W 20K radiums instead of my 250W 10k xm and having to add actinic's.

ahhhh, another question. Do T5's really add less heat than metal halides if the same wattage is used?

yes its less heat but you need more bulbs, if you want to do t5's right you have to cover the entire top of the tank
