250W XM vs. Coralvue

I need to replace my lamps for the first time. I'm trying to decide between XM 10K and Coralvue 10K. I have PFO 250W Dual HQI ballasts and two 48 inch superactinic in my light hood. I need good growth for sps coral. Also heard Hamilton 14Ks are nice. I'm trying to study Sanjays articles and looks like the XMs are the highest par, but I'm wondering if they're too yellow. Can anybody can help me out there?

i would run the xms, you ahve actinics so it shouldlook good.

here is a pic of my tank when i was running 2 250w xms on icecaps ballast with 2 140w super R VHO

i didnt find them that yellow even when i was running them without the vhos

yeah, they are a great bulb. in about a month and a half time , the big stag in the second picture has grown to almost touching the waters surface. the xms really rock, too bad the vho ballast burned up and i switched to 400w 20k. kinda liked some of the colors better with the xms, but i am gettign some great growth/ color now though
