252 Reef Setup

Okay time to start the Upgrade, I have 135 glass Reef now, and upgrading to 255 gallon Acrylic Tank, 96x24x25.5,

Stuff that I already have

2-400watt 20000K (Ice cap) Metal Halides
2 250 watt 20000K (ice Cap) changing bulbs to 10000K
2 Uri 72" VHO Actinic Bulbs on Ice cap 660
4 Compact 65000K Odessa bulbs

80 Gallon Sump
MTC HS-1000 Skimmer with Iwaki 55RLT Pump
MTC ProCall Calcium reactor with JBJ Co2 Valve
40 Watt Aqua UV
Pacific cost 650 Chiller

Okay now all the new stuff that is being added
Barracuda Pump (5800G/H) closed loop with Oceans Motions 4 ways (splitting outputs to 8)
Profilux II Plus controller with all Upgrades and in wall monitor.
2 wavysea for Returns
100 Ozone Generator with Orp Controler
Oak Stand and Canopy
Milwaukee PH controller
50 gallon Hospital Tank with Euro Reef skimmer
AquaFX 200 G/P Mako Ro/Di unite with TDS meter

Well I been reefing for one year, and most of what I know I have learned from you guys, I been reading this website everyday for over a year now, and I just wanted to take a sic and thank all of you for all the information about Reefs.

I will take pics as I make this upgrade.

Any help/ ideas / suggestions will be greatly appreciated




Tank will be seating on 2nd floor, and everything else in the basement.

I have a leak from bottom of the Skimmer chamber, next to valve, I tried to unscrew and clean the gasket, but it still leaks, can anyone let me know how to stop the leak, I did try to tightening the screws, but I don’t want to over tighten since as you guys can see there nylon screws, Silicone?
