252 tank missing pre-drilled holes

I have an opportunity to buy a new tank never used for a great price. I went to see it last night and discovered that the 252 gallon tank overflow appears to be missing pre-drilled holes. the tank has a center back overflow. it has three compartments. The first compartment I am guessing is for wiring or plumbing as it goes the length of the tank completely open. The other two compartments appear to be the overflow and the bottom of the second compartment has two pre-drilled holes I assume are for the drain. the third compartment has no pre-drilled holes and has slits on the bottom and top for for overflow. the second compartment has only slits on the top for overflow. there is no return predrilled holes in the overflow! The top of the tank has four holes that I assume is to use for the water return. So I assume the return would have to go across the back of the tank and down through the top holes? Not the prettiest of setups. I have never seen this type of set up before and I am looking for feedback on how this would work. the deal is a 252 gallon acrylic tank plus the 100 gallon 4 chamber sump for $800.

Got pictures? There are too many potential holes in your description so its not clear what you are trying to describe (pun intended)

You sure its not an all-in-one tank setup or something?

Yea, gonna need pictures for this one, I read through it a few times and have literally no clue what was being described at all. Also, is this the tank that has a random hole in the bottom back? Or am I mixing up people getting great deals on weird big tanks?
