It's a shame you couldn't go for the full length tank 20 or so ft of tank would have been awesome..... I'm sure the stone worktop would have offset a lot of the cost of the extra length tank?..

Stunning set-up though. Congratulations. I'm sure the tank will be stunner.

That's not a stone top... plain old arborite. I wouldn't want to think about what granite would have cost.

Here is the final drawing for the tank...

lol, Yeah I'm not a fan of seeing equipment in the tank and I can always dial back the darts until I need more flow as things grow.

RParker,

I've been following along since the start and can't believe my eyes!

OK,

What happened?

Starting over, I hope!

Let us know, will ya?

Chin up, dust them britches off and let's get this thing fixed. ASAP.

Sorry, man!

The old tank is out or the way now, just need to wait for the new one to arrive. I'm going to get all the raw wood sealed up this week, get my sump in place..ect..

I'm working on my sump layout and thought I would post it here for feed back.

The sump will be made out or a standard 75 gallon. Do I need the bubble trap between the skimmer chamber and fuge? Sump from left to right:

Sump Intake / Skimmer / Small Fuge / Return Area.

Looks like a good set up words of wisdom make the baffle so that you can fit your hands in it and a nozzle of a dry vac so any crud in there can be cleaned out easily I use filtersocks and somehow still get crap in them here and there
