A buddy of mine decided to shut down his tank. Now that seems normal and all except he is the owner/founder of Saltwater Connection or as some of you may remember them as SWC. The skimmers, lights, food, etc, all his designs.

So he listed a 280ga plus "goodies" for sale for $1500. So I bit the bullet.

This is going to be my build log in setting up this massive tank with a new custom built stand.

Stay tuned for more. The tank is disassembled awaiting cleaning then I'll start building the stand and get ready to put the tank together.

As far as I can see, you made out like a bandit. Good score.
Sure did. Now that I've had some time to dissect the buy, I found 5 external pumps. 2 are Resun MD-55s 3 are Resun MD-40s.

Also a half dozen MN-404 small submersible pumps.

As an update my stand design is done and being built by my welder buddy. I'm told it might be ready Saturday (WooHoo), at which time I will drill the tank and build it :)

One step at a time.
