29- Best Flow Rates?

29 going to be Soft Coral Dominated tank,

Only running a maxi Jet 400 on it, for some Xenia (Watching very closely) and some button polyps

looking to add

GSP
Torch or Frogspawn
Leather
Hammer

How much flow should i have in the tank?
I would also like to have the HYDRO Flow attachment..

As well as Placement of Maxi Jets in the tank...

I would just put in a seio 620 and call it good. It does 620gph, but dont be fooled by the high number. It will feel less forceful than that maxijet which does way less gph. It has a wide flow so its nice and easy which IMO is better than blasting everything with a violent maxi.

But right now, you're quite a bit under what you would want. When you get the LPS corals, just keep them in areas that area a little easier flowing.

My xenia's do the best in pretty much direct flow from my seio620...maybe a foot away from the powerhead is all.

I've got about 5 leathers i think, and they're all in pretty good flow and doing great, so i'd say they'd be fine w/the seio also.
