29 gallon tank and filteration

Hello!

I have a FOWLR 29 gallon tank that i will eventually add corals! DO i need a hang on filter or would a powerhead and lightening do? I have read many different things on this subject!

You can add a HOB filter to the tank if you want, but there not really needed. It's always nice to be able to run some sort of mechanical filtration along with GFO & GAC if need be though.

I would prefer not to use one but for simplicity I use an AC70 to trap floating stuff and to hold ChemiPure, Carbon and such. Convenient for that but just unsightly with a big old tube hanging down in the tank.
