ok well my 29g has been up for about a year. ive done nothing to it. ive thought about many different ways i could do the tank. originally it was to be a reef, but i wanted something different than my other reef tank, so i thought about a dwarf lionfish, but my mom doesnt want anything poisonous in the house..., so then i ended up with going with a clownfish/anemone display. i have one cleaner shrimp, and one clown i was looking to pair up. i added my first anemone, which was a GBTA. it did great for the first ~2 months. it stayed put, ate well, and overall appeared very healthy.. i guess last night it felt like going for a walk and ended up in a powerhead...so no more anemone...
...so now im trying to think of what i can do. my fish choices in a 29g are very limited, so i want to do something different. i will be making a reef of mostly softies and lps, but i need fish suggestions of something different. im gonna try for a dwarf lion again, but i doubt it will happen. im currently thinking about an angler, and maybe another fish or two, but im looking for fish that wouldnt be typically seen in a reef environment. i intend on removing my shrimp and clowns, therefore allowing me to keep fish that wouldnt be safe with smaller fish or ornamental crustaceans.
does anyone have any fish suggestions that would fit in with the type of fish im looking for, that preferably arent poisonous? thanks for any input or suggestions.
