29g Bicoube Story

I would have called it a build but i am already a few months in

So i started with a normal 29g BioCube

what i have done so far

20lb of live sand
35ish lb of live rock

Cycle cycle cycle

Then it was done so i added a fish

Two weeks later decided to move to Florida

So here was me and my new BC making a 1000 mile trip
we saw a lot and spent some gas then made it to Florida
Got here and couldn't set me tank up fast enough so i had to
give my Snow Flake clown away i love that little guy

So got it back up and running Added cycled rock and sand
from my friends tank I have a huge pod count now(thanks
Sam)

So i want this tank to be heavy Coral and only running CPF
lighting i had to make a change that change was

RapidLeds

They work good after i blew a few of them up
ahhh stupid me

Well not the lights are running well and tank looks good
so when next you might wonder well somebody finds my dimmable
knobs and cranks my LEDs to full power i come home to what once
was a bright green and another bright red coral and a pretty
pink pulsing Xenia to a bright white and a bright white coral
and a not so pulsing coral looked like i pored bleach on the
little guys

So know my tank is locked up and death treats were made
:uzi: :uzi: :uzi: :uzi: :uzi: :uzi: :uzi: :uzi: :uzi: :uzi:

So that leaves me to where i am at now stocking with corals
and i will pick maybe 2-3 fish

i Have had a hard time finding a ahhh better coral store
in the tampa area so far Looking for a nice blue tipped
nuclear green torch and a purple or a green monti

anyways ill post a few pics and update when i find stuff i like

and always open for ideas

Are you kidding me, a nice store in Tampa...lol... You have some of the nicest reputable stores there my friend, 2 within a couple miles of one another. Try FAOIS and Coral Corral to name 2, I drive past all the stores in Orlando and continue to drive another 100 miles to get to these 2 stores. FAOIS for equipment and stocking up on goods, Coral Corral has some of the most amazing stores for livestock you will find :) There is a popular store in Orlando that is quite popular that is known for cherry picking Pierre's store...lol... Good luck, welcome to FL, now go get your reef addiction on...

Yeah i ended up at FAOIS to get my acans and CC to get my torch
they fragged it out of there show tank for me I had not heard about
these places when i wrote this as i really like FAOIS CC is near impossible to
find if you have never been near it before and FAOIS is not really spoken to
much about when you ask the local places

Hey where is a nice coral store cause the answer always is well i can buy
them for you just wait 3-9999999 weeks and i will have it in

Coral Corral,
On the most eastern side of Lowes, there is a road that dead ends, go right, then go about 1/2 a mile or so, on the right you see a warehouse looking building, that is CC. If you have been there, you will know that they carry MANY corals. Otherwise, if you are looking for specific species, I would deal with John at FAOIS, he has shipped items to me several times, always a quality act!
