29G Tank

My wife and I just decided we would finally setup our tank!

We have a 29G display with a 20L sump. We are looking to drill the 29G for an overflow system. I heard Sea Of Marvels will drill tanks (obviously no insurance if they crack) is this true? Alternatively does someone from GIRS drill tanks or have a predrilled 29G tank for trade and/or purchase?

We have a hard deadline as I am leaving the country on the 31 and will be gone for most of November. (as the tank cycles) My wife will be home for maintenance / topoff.

After this time I will be looking for some starter fish / corals (most likely a small nemo :o)

Sorry for replying to my own post but I am short on some equipment so if anyone has anything listed below they are looking to sell, let me know and maybe we can strike a deal.

2 - 150W heaters
1 - refractometer / swing arm
1 - GFCI (will probably just buy at Menards tomorrow)
Testkits (I have basic SeaChem kit, but nothing else - obviously can wait)

for cycling (not until toward the end of the month
some live sand
some live rock

I think thats it for now ...

If you want it drilled I can do it with a dremel in about 10 minutes.......I also can't guarantee it won't crack, but I do have about 30 holes under my belt and haven't cracked one yet. It would cost you about 5 bucks for the bit, time and dremel are free. I can even snag one of my bulk heads back from jeremy and I'll throw it in for free. And......I'm pretty sure I have a couple 150's and a swing arm hydrometer in the basement. Pm me if your interested.........Jason

Atticus,

I got some ebo's from Jason so I don't think I'll be needing any, but I haven't tested them yet.

I will give personal recommendation for Jason to drill tanks. I have 2 very nice looking holes for 1" bulkheads. I'm still deciding how to do the overflow, but I at least know the holes look nice ;)

Thanks again Jason!
