What about PH , salt level or anything else I need to consider, as always grateful for any help Dave E

Hi Dave!

I noticed you have a 29g reef... are you planning on adding seahorses to this tank, or setting up an additional 29g?

If you are planning on using the existing tank, you would need to make a few modifications (ie: lower temp, lower flow, removing hazardous corals/tank mates).

Check out these links:

You should be able to comfortably fit a pair of seahorses in the 29 g size, and I would strongly recommend looking to Seahorse Source (http://www.seahorsesource.com/index.html) for your seahorses. They sell a variety of captive bred seahorses, and are very helpful.

Good Luck!

Hey Shay, nice to see another O.C. person around.

DNE what's the setup for your reef like? What corals do you have?

I am considering a 29 hex too, did you ever follow through (this is an older thread) or does anyone else have one that I could see pics of? I'm searching through this forum with no luck
