The 2nd annual Sps Growing Challange is to begin.
ok i have collected to corals and held them for a few months to insure health. I must say a few a looking to good and i do not want to get rid of. Once again searching for these corals were very hard to find. large, stable, potentail, diversity factors were all considered. so i hope every is happy with the selection.
Here is how it works.
Everyone will need to fill out a sheet of paper with the folling info

email address
tank size and water volume

light info.. t-5, halides. leds.. etc.
skimmer info
colony id guess of the 4 pieces..prize involved
perhaps a few others..
Cost is 25.00 this will include 4 frags until corals fragments run out. all fragments are pre mounted on plugs. once everyone gets frags they will be put into catagories baised upon tank sizes. what we are looking for is best color and growth overall but other prizes wil be offered throught the contest to keep particpation up. judging will be done at Reefapoolza.

coral number one... a beautiful deepwater that presently has light blue tips
coral number two.. mission impossible. this coral was provide from steve levarda/marine depot two years ago and finally getting some color.
coral number three, a very healthy aquacultured peice.
coral number four.. another deepwater table. this one is a very nice peice. color should be interesting on this, compaired to where it was 2 months ago.
well i am estimating about enough corals for 50ish peeps. so these will go quick. in a previous gauging interest threat i had 39 names interested at that time in november. yes a long time ago. it was very hard to find corals and i already lost 2 in the first try.
please note club peeps get first dibs so that is why it starts offically next friday at SCMAS meeting. after that paypal/ cash will reserve a spot. =) until corals are all gone
please no pms. post here with questions and comments. thanks all.
anyone interested in helping with distrubution spots let me know. last time i drove over 250 miles getting rid of these things. lol.
