Alright, I got it figured out.
First thread, had no price - mods had to close it.
Second thread, was just a few days short of being a member for "90 days". Now, I am a member for 93 days, if I remember correctly.
SO, all is good now.
For sale is a pair of ORA Grade "B" Picasso's. Grade B's, only have distinct markings on one side, while grade "A" Picasso's have distinct markings on both sides. Both of these, retail far more than $100 for a pair.
I apologize for the crappy picture quality, but this is the best I can do.
They have been together for a little longer than 1 year. They are NOT spawning as of today. They are extremely docile towards other fish, and show absolutely no aggression towards the damsel I have in my tank.
I bought these on impulse, from another ORCA member, only to drive 75 miles to pick them up, and they ended up being a bit to big for my 14g. I have plans on upgrading my tank, but that won't happen for some time. And even then, I would like to see this beautiful pair either in a small, dedicated tank, or a larger mixed reef.
Since I cannot accurately measure fish, I am going to say the female is close to 2.5", while the male is about 2.25". They are extremely healthy, eat everything I toss in the tank. They are extremely beautiful specimens. Very bright orange, very dark black - thick lines, which makes the white bars/stripes pop very nicely.
This pair has tons of personality, and to be honest, I have become quite attached to them, but I believe they belong in a slightly bigger system.
I am selling them for the exact amount I paid for them. Not a dollar less or dollar more. And I'm not interested in any trades. I will be using the money to get adequate "nano" fish from DFS. I'll be picking up a Chalk Bass, Purple Stripe Pseudochromis, and a Barrier Reef Chromis.
You are welcome to stop by and view the fish. If you have a special food you feed your fish, you're more than welcome to bring your food along too, to see how well they eat it. I will also demonstrate that they eat my frozen "combo" and pellets.
I am no longer in possession of a camera, my sister took it, and "lost" it. I will be getting a new camera soon, but otherwise, this is all I have to work with. Like I said, you're more than welcome to stop by and see how they actually look in person.
I put red arrows pointing to the distinct markings on the fish. It's somewhat difficult to see, but in person it's not.
Feel free to PM me if you have any questions. I am currently not working due to an unexpected passing in the family, so I am will be home M-Sun this week and next week. And if you want to look at them when you get off of work or whatever, that's fine with me.
