2x4 stand plans or pic

Hi

Does someone have a pic or plans for
using 2x4 to build tank stand.

There are ton of pics online. What is the
correct build using compressive loading
vs. weight of tank relying on support from screws?
Its why I don't want to just pick something online.

My goal is 24" x 24" x 44" tall for lagoon 25 tank.

Might be top heavy, extend base to offset the taller height?

Thx

google it.. (google images.. you will see a stand with lots of colors.. thats it) hopefully someone fixed the pics already and there is a massive thread here on it..
vastly overkill for you though..

There is NO need for 2x4s though with a 25G tank..
Just a simple plywood box is plenty sufficient.. or off the shelf kitchen base cabinet,etc... if you don't want to build much..

I have no 2x anything material in my 80G stand..just 3/4" plywood..

But really nothing wrong with overkill if you want.. Just a lot of wasted space down below..

In general don't put screws in shear.. Let the lumber carry the weight right down to the floor..

I always preferred the stacked 2 x 4 designs. Basically making a solid wood core

I've built up the stand. What's your method to shim the stand
if it's not level? What type of wood should be used?

It will be on carpet. Adjustable feet?

2x4 stand plans or pic

I just recently built a stand for 24"x24" footprint tank. Used 3/4" oak plywood fastened with pocket screws and glue. No 2"x4".

I added a drawer. Bottom/sump shelf is removable.

Here is the 2x4 stand I just finished for my 90gal. Starting a matching canopy in a couple of days.
