Hello,
I have a 120 gallon room divider tank. Here's a diagram of the general layout and rockwork:
Currently it is mostly softies and we have one return of about 1200gph on one side of the overflow. This gives a pretty good rotating flow in the tank.
We are converting to SPS and have ordered two 6000s and the new controller.
We will mount the 6000s on The end against the wall on either side of the overflow.
Is this setup likely to work well, or will we need to hide one of them in the rockwork on the end away from the wall?
What depth would you recomend mounting them? One near the surface one and deeper, or does it not matter? I'm just trying to plan if I need the rock or magnet to mount them.
Thanks,
Cindy
