2x6095 for 36x36x24 tank

Looking at setting up a new 36"x36"x24" tank. The tank would be primarily SPS, but with a 24x24x12-15" rock structure centered against the back glass with 12" band of open sand.

Would the 2x6095 run on a Multicontroller 7096 be a good amount of flow for SPS?

I think they are the best choice for that tank and a good start but I do think you will end up with 3 or 4 before it is all done. That footprint can be hard to get flow all in with two pumps. In my 93g cube I have 2 6095, 1 6055 and 1 6045. I think if I had 3 6095s in total I would be able to be happy as well.

In my 36x36x27 I am using a pair of 6095's and a pair of 6015's tucked down low in the back to eliminate the dead spots...

The 6095's have plenty of raw GPH flow, but like Shawn said it's just an awkward set of dimensions to manage.

The 36x36 might be easier than my 30x30. The problem I find is there is no real distance for flow to go so I can't turn the pumps up real high plus it seems like there is always a coral in the path.
