3.0.8.1 Temperature Bug?

When entering nominal temperature (i.e. 80.00°F) it will revert to 79.88 when saving/load. I have to enter 80.20°F. When I do that, it displays 80.06°F. Is this a bug? I just updated from 3.0.5 to 3.0.8.1 to get ready for 4.0.0 I also noticed that it moved my saved descriptions to different fields in 'Socket outlet functions'.

Highly unlikely to be a bug this later on in its release.

What differentials have you got set?

Matthias can answer better from there

I didn't change anything like hysteresis. I really don't see how that would have an effect on the temp setpoint...or it shouldn't since it's a manual setting. That would be more of a function of the control point. It's not a huge deal, it just behaves kind of 'buggy'

have you updated to 4.00 yet?

If not please do so, if the difference follows it is not a bug from what i can see, and there are no other reports of this, which makes me think it could be a pre installed setting.

But Matthias will advise further I am sure

I'm seeing alot of issues with 4.0.0 in this forum. I was going to wait until these are cleared. It looks like some of the firmware updates are stalling on upload. I'd like to wait until Mattthius gets that worked out.

???????

Please check out the last post of the 4.00 firmware thread.

Just one small bug of the beta release that has been fixed within minutes of being discovered.

Give it a go, I think you will love it.

Think about if you went to set your house thermostat and right before you walked away, the setting you just made jumped down a degree. It's not right.

Ok...I see that was updated about 11am EST. I think I was busy updating to 3.0.8.1 at the time. I'll give it a try.
