3,000 watts on a 600

I want my tank to be much brighter, I'm planning to go with 3 luminarc reflectors with Helios 1000 watt 20K bulbs and PFO ballasts

Does anyone here have 1K watt bulbs on a 48x96x30" tall tank?
I am SPS dominant and looking for better growth and color.
I don't want to consider 3- 400 watt MH's as I already have 6- 250 watt D.E phoenix 14K in luminarcs and its not bright enough for me. I dont want to go with 10K bulbs and add any Flourescents because i dont have the room above the tank for a bunch of bulbs everywhere.

Thanks for any advice.

ps: it seems like a lot of light but its only 5 watts per gallon.
By comparison a 180 with 3- 400 watters (which is fairly common) is more than 6.5 watts per gallon

I have a 560/g 120x36x30 . I was using 4 250/w in LUM III's and wanted the same thing. I went up to 400/w 20k radiums and love the look/color/par of them.

so you saw a big difference going from 250 d.e. to 400 moguls?
I am afraid there is not enough difference between 250 watt d.e. and 400w mogul?
what do you think
