3.1N. pH historisis, wanting lower than 0.1

bad inferno

I see the smallest setting for historisis is 0.1 for the pH control. Any way to work around this ? Wanted more like 0.05 or less. Definitely lower than .1

Never played with virtual sensors dont know if that would help. From memory i think the program logic allow comparing probes with any trip point.

I really do not want to use another controller when i have the profilux.

Oops just read the hysteresis description, I was obviously confused in ghl naming of hysteresis, it works more like what my industry would call a deadband.

There is ways to get any setting you like, but I am not sure if GHL would appreciate me releasing such information.
Its common sense to do it, but seem like most do not have it.

Its obvious they place limits on some of the settings, but at the same time, they did not protect it.
GHL is the best controller on the market, those Germans can make hardware but can be very stubborn on software, for the most part they got to protect the stupid from being stupid.

I have the same issues with Siemens, thats another story.

Hi

in my option a hystersis < 0.1 makes not much sense, I fear that the controlling socket (resp. the solenoid) switches too often, and we should consider the accuracy of such a probe.

But I think I got the message in this thread, if you want to be free in doing your settings you should be. I change this limit in the next firmware.

Until then do a "mod":
1. save the sensor settings
2. manipulate the file - I am sure you find the entry
3. load the file back
