can i have 3 80mm case fans connected to one 12v ac adapter? will it be able to handle all 3? or should i have 2 adapters. it's for the diy led i'm planning on doing. thanks!

Need electrical specs for the adapter.
Need electrical specs for the fan.
Specifically the milliAmp rating for the fans and the ac adapter.
For "example" 1 fan requires 500mA so 500mA x 3=1500mA or 1.5Amps
Now look at your ac adapter it will say 12V @1000mA.. So 1500mA is greater than 1000mA so this will not work. You need an AC adapter that is typically twice the rating of what the fans require. Twice the rating is a good safety factor..

oh ok, i can't find a mps rating on the fan, but now i know what to check for and i'll prob do 2 adapters to be safe. thanks so much!
