3 clowns 1 tank

I know in general you need big tanks and lots of space to have more than 1 pair of clowns. I have a 120g with a adult sized pair of saddle clowns (amongst other fish). Someone locally has a 20g with 3 clowns, 2 paired up and keep the 3rd in a corner, so he is going to look to re-home the straggler. I'm considering it, but am worried the large female saddle will not take kindly to a new clown.

How terrible of an idea would it be?

It's kind of you to want to rescue the poor little fella, but I don't think he'll fare any better with your clowns. Saddlebacks are very territorial (so I've heard). :(

They definitely are. They actually pick snails off the rocks and swim them to the other side of the tank, lol.

Same concern I had about putting another clown in there. I'm sure he'll find a home eventually.
