Hi all have had help and my 75 gallon is up and running and I am trying to learn and get a lot of things set up and will be making a log here when I learn how along with all there is to learn. I will post more pics but have some new pics that I was wondering if I could get some help if this is normal or not.
Just added the mushroom corals on week 2 along with 2 clowns. Have the skimmer going and still trying to learn more about that. Have been trying to get my saltwater mixing station up and running to do the first water change but don't think I will make it so tomorrow I am going to do the first one with 5 gallon buckets so I can mark the back of my tank.
I am using a T5 light fixture that has 2 blues and 2 whites have it set up for the blues to come on 1 hour before the whites and they are all on and the blues shut off 1 hour before the whites but to tell the truth I am not sure and need all the help I can get. I am going to LED when the $ is alvalable.
Here are some pics I just took.
thanks Phil

Welcome!
Looks like you have some algae. It is normal for a fresh tank. It was a little early to add fish and what not but I did the same thing when I first started. The algae occurs because of excess nutrients. Water changes will help with that. Also a clean up crew of snails will help with the algae. Do you have a sump or refugium? Also I run my t5s with blue coming on first and going off last. Do you have tests to check ammonia, nitrate nitrite levels? If not you need to get some so you know where your water params are sitting. With fish in there you'll want to keep an eye on things and do water changes as needed.

Other than the hair algae your tank is looking good. Just hang in there and take it slow and try to keep nutrients out. Get a hand on that hair algae before it gets out of control.
