Thanks, here you go Expedition; this is the initial setup before any corals were added:

Hope this explains it; it's a simple setup. I definitely need to make a few adjustments. I have to move the tank, but after the move goes well I'm going to build a new hood and rebuild the loop.

Thanks bro! I think there's too many L's in it though causing me to lose a little bit of flow. Actually, I bought the pump a few years ago for a 10 gal. mod.; it was way too powerful. I can't remember anything about it since I threw the box away, but it'll still blow stuff around if I open all the valves. Sorry I couldn't help anymore.

Love it! I love softies and LPS that move with the current. I like the fact that you have several larger colonies vs a bunch of everything in small quantities. Are those green and pink things big hairy mushrooms? They're really cool. The only thing I would do to improve the tank is make the rock more open. I did this and the flow around the tank and through the rock improved dramatically. Once I transferred everything from my 30 cube to my 47 tall (think cube + 1/2, same footprint) I made it very open by building a pvc pillar and attaching the rock to it with zip ties. I didn't depend on one piece of rock to hold up another. Each rock has some space between it and I still managed to hide the pvc pipe. I will be posting pics as soon as my DH can upload the pics for me onto the computer. You can probably make some space by using small plastic baskets or by making pvc boxes. I really do love your tank though.

Thanks a lot Chihuahua! I am going to be moving it in about 2 weeks so I may very well think about opening the rock a little bit. I wouldn't mind it being a little taller myself. Let me know when you get those pics up.

Oh and yes those are just big hairy mushrooms. I bought 1 unattached for $1 a couple years ago and now I have about 11 of them! I need to start fragging them more.

I'm using 96w actinic with 65w 50/50 PC power. It's a cheap light, but it works. The only equipment run on the entire system is:

Heater
Light
Pump

Thanks for the comments guys! : )

Very nice Kaserpick! Love the nozzles in every direction... one of these days im going to read up on how to set my tank up with a loop like that and do it. Very inspirational :)

Do you have a better pic of that coral in the third pic? the one right under the hammer coral, and adjacent to the trumpets. I liked that one especially

Jacsubi, here's a close up of the coral; it's just a mushroom although I really like the morph. It wasn't lying flat in the picture above because the water flow was agitating it.
