30 gallon tanks

I decided to get rid of my lifereef setup LF125 and v2 skimmer for a 30 gallon AGA tank with a DIY recirc Needle wheel skimmer.

How much is a 30 gallon?

Can you DIY drill a 30 gallon AGA?

Does anyone run a Eheim 1260 as an external, if not does it add heat to the tank?

I wouldn't drill a 30gal AGA, I had one blow out with two 7/8" holes in it.

I went with a custom 40gal 3/8" thick acrylic tank I had made for my set-up, which I will be selling very soon.

The dimensions are 30" X 23" X 12" and it is drilled all in the front. 5", 19", & 17" from the bottom, and 16", 19" & 24" from the left side.

Pics... I will have to email them to you, after I take some.

I drilled the front (or yes it can be the back) because thats the way I had to set my system. The two upper holes are the hi/low overflows and the lower is a drain.
