Thanks ebond009
Today i will show my DT air injection:
I have air back up in case of power outage for my DT as well with sump and reactors. This is a little different and will be used along with an air pump and timer to inject air for one minute every hour. While micro bubbles comming from a poor designed sump is not a good thing i believe micro bubbles injected is

First it is very important when injecting that you have a system with enough flow/movement to remove the bubbles fairly fast. With fast i mean within a few minutes and just as important you need to build up your time giveing fish and corals a chance to adjust to this feature.
Why would i want to do this?
Raises oxygen levels, binds with suspended particulate matter raising to surface to be removed via overflow/s, helps corals remove waste, better light penatration, helps remove stale water trapped under rocks in pockets.
It may help alittle with small pH swings but i don't know this one for sure
There are many way's air injection can be added i am adding it through my close loop system. But have built custom overflows for hobbiest that can be used also.
Some air supplys:
DT air injection through close loop:
I have loward the air stone so you could see it when running it would be behind the tee and be removed for cleaning or replacement.
Thanks for looking
