I have a used 300 gallon tank for sale. The tank measures 96" wide, 24" deep and 30" tall. The steel stand measures 96" x24" x 33.5" including the plywood top. The stand has black acylic covers that are held on the stand via magnets. There are 2 covers for the stand. One for the front and one of the sides.

This is an older tank. It has some scratches and crazing on the acrylic but still holds water fine and could be cleaned up reasonably well. It has clear front and back and blue sides. It had some black plastic hung from the back to give it that black back appearance. It has an overflow on each side.

The tank includes a wet dry filter, Oceanic Plus Model C skimmer, Little giant 4MDQ-SC return pump. 12" Ocean Clear canister filter, 3 bulb metal halide fixture and ballast with 175 watt bulbs, sand, decorative rock and corals. The fish are not included and have been moved from this tank to my home.

The tank is located at my office in Chatsworth and is drained and ready to go. I was thinking about cutting the tank down and turning it into a frag tank but I am not up for the task.

Looking to get $500 for everything (fish not included) but I will consider a reasonable offer. The tank is assembled on the stand and it's a heavy setup! It could be easily removed from the stand for transport if you so choose or you could get a UHaul and bring some able bodied friends. PM me if you are interested.

These are pictures of the tank taken last week before I broke it down.

great price for an older set up.

To think a tank like this years back was a great tank with success. bleached dead corals and all. Reef tanks have really come along way and the bar has been raised.

daaaaaamn must not give in.

how many people do you think will be needed to move it?

If it's being moved on the stand, I would say 4 if you have some dolly's. It's easy to move once it's on the dolly's. We moved it complete as I didn't want to disconnect the plumbing. It would have been much easier if it was taken apart though and 2 people could have moved it that way. We had dolly's though and so I took advantage of that and my employees.

Seeing the tank tomorrow and if it all checks out then I got first dibs hopefully
