300 gallon tank owners

How much flow do you typically push through the tank and sump. I am looking for a pump and i wanted to get a good idea of what others are using. I currently run a Pan-World 100px-x at 1270 GPH on my 180 but it is dialed back. I have Tunze's for circulation, so do you think I could get away with ther pan-world fully opened up on the 300 gallon?

i use a Red Dragon 10m3.. moves just over 2000 gph.....

Iwaki 30 for me. Sump is 7ft away also. Its just enough.
