300 or a current 210?

i have a 210 gallon in wall setup. i have come across a deal for a 300 gallon. i believe it is only 2 foot longer.i can only have 1 nad dont know if it would be worth going through the trouble of setting up and taking down the current tank for 2 feet and 90 gallons.

can i hear some opinions on this. is the extra 2 feet worth it or should i keep the money and invest in better equipment.

the 210 measurements are 72X24X29. the 210 is a aga megaflow tank that is less then a year old.

the 300 was custom built 4 years ago. it has 3 22 inch overflow boxes on the back instead of in the tank.

IMO, don't do it. That a good deal of work, unless you are getting an amazing deal on the 300g.

id say go for it......2 feet will add a ton to the tank in terms of options as well as the extra 90 gallons, you will be able to get more fish, corals, etc. and and in terms of rockwork you can exapnd your ooptions

either way i go this is going to ba an SPS dominant tank. i want an assortment of fish but the ones i want i beleive i can keep with the 210 that i have now. \

i would be able to expand the possibilities of the rock work, as that is a good point.

with the extra 2 feet i would have to figure out something with the lights. currently i am running (3) 250 watt halides, (2) 400 watt halides and then i have the actinic lighting also. i could make it work with what i have i would just have to figure it out.

i am really pondering this decision. either way i am going to take the 210 out of the wall so i can give the room to my newborn son. i can keep the 210 and buy a new skimmer for under the new stand that will probably be a BK SUPERMARINE. the current skimmer is a diy but will be to big to go under the stand. if i get the 300 i will be going with an octopus type skimmer.

someone please help me with this decision!

If you have to go thru the hassel of moving the tank anyway, I'd go with the 300. The extra 2 feet will be worth it.

so this is what i have so far.....
the people who offered there opinion (which i really do appreciate) the one that has a tank 300 or bigger said not to do it and the ones that said to do it have smaller tanks... i know that having the extra 2 feet would make for more of an interesting setup but just dont want to pull the string and go threw the entire process and trouble to set up a new tank. i think that what i am going to do is to keep the 210 and pass on the 300 for now. i will update my equipment to make sure that everything willl fit under the new stand...

thanks for all the help!
