My return pump, a mag 24 sure does vibrate a lot and is kind of loud.
I've read that I could use a mouse pad under it to help stop this, would that be safe to use for an extended period of time, or should I change it out. would the colored top (the die in the material) be safe in my tank. is there something else I should consider using instead?

Thanks shooter, long time since I've seen you on here, Glad to see you. How is the family doing. Hope you all had a great summer. I bet your frag has shot up over the summer. Hope your wife is doing better. Don't be such a stranger.
Thanks for the info. I might try the silicone hot pads. They seen easier to deal with.

what about filter pads that you can buy by the foot....or some regular bubble wrap?
