Ok, so long story short center brace popped off one side on my newly acquired 300g tank and I've repaired it but it doesn't look as "dark" as the factory sealant and I'd rather cut it all off and redo it if its bad.
I can not seem get the right light to capture the seal with a photo. If anyone has any pictures that do capture the "good" or "bad" seal I would be much appreciative and/or any tips on doing a tank this large would also be helpful. I've googled and searched the forum but they all cover tanks that are much smaller.
There is euro bracing that connects to each side of the center brace as well. I think maybe I clamped to tight and squished to much of the sealant out during my repair.
I've also considered angle iron to reinforce the center brace because it wont be seen with the hood anyway.
Any tips tricks and or thoughts would be much much appreciated. :hammer:
