300g reef build!

hey guys! i posted a thread a week or so ago about buying a 240g tank...well i decided to go 300g! and do it the way you guys helped me out with which was buying everything right the first time and dont half *** it pretty much lol...i just got my new 300 gallon acrylic soon to be reef tank home and thought id share with all you guys...i will post new pictures as i set up and start to build up all the corals and fish.Thanks to all who helped me out with getting the right setup..i am buying the lighting this week along with a canopy and chiller.

here are a few pictures of the new tank along with i guess you can call it my quarantine tank now.i will tank some good pictures tommorrow when its light out...these are just a few quick ones because im excited

Looks like a good start...

How thick is the acrylic? I would ditch all those bio balls.

thechad21-yes i bought the tank used but its never seen water yet brand new!

ricks-thanks...the acrylic is about 3/4 inch thick the tank is 8 feet long by 2 ft wide by 2 and 1/2 feet tall..i cant wait to set it up next week!

just finished sanding and painting the custom stand..i have to reinforce some of the supports on the stand tommorrow or so to hold all the weight this is one heavy tank!..its looking good and the final coat will go on tomorrow..i think im gonna go pick up the lighting for the tank as well!
