Well, I finally got new tank installed. It is 72 Long x 30 Wide x 30 Tall. I am new to the hobby (yep went big on the tank) and am working on the stocking list as it cycles. I would appreciate advice on the fish list and order I should add to the tank. Planning on a mixed reef with a limited amount of rock - so lots of swimming room.
I know some of the tangs (Sailfin, Naso, Blue) get quite large but figure if they get too big I would find a good home for them.
Here is my wish list and planned order:
(5) Blue Green Chromis (know they may fight, but should be room enough)
(2) Clarkii Clowns (they okay without an anemone host?)
Yellow Tang (would like to get several, but guessing that would be pushing it?)
Orchid Dottyback (or purple dottyback)
Melanurus Wrasse
Red Head Solon Fairy Wrasse
Carpenter's Flasher Wrasse
McCosker's Wrasse
Tomini Tang (or Yellow Eye Kole Tang)
Sailfin Tang, desjardin
Naso Tang
Blue Tang
Orange Spotted Goby (or Diamond Watchman Goby)
Flame Angel (or Potters Angel)
Pipe Hawkfish (or Harlequin Tusk)
Other fish on the wish list, if some of the above are not good selections:
Striped Squirrelfish
Scopus Tang
Purple Tang
Midas Blenny
