Can my system be raising my electric bill by 200-300kw every month?
my system:
Eheim 3000 (Return pump 24/7)
Bubble Magnus skimmer (24/7)
Oceanic Revive 120w light fixture (Runs about 8 hrs a day)
20w led for the refugium (24/7)
Smart ATO top off system
Eheim 1000 for my GFO reactor (24/7)
3 Hydor Koralia Nano 425 (24/7)
Jebao WP-25 24/7

No heater or chiller.

My electric bill has gone up this past year could this be the cause?

200-300kw seems a bit high without a heater, but easily within the realm of the possible.
Best bet would be to get a power meter for the outlet you have the tank running on. They only go for about 20$ +/- and will give you a very specific answer.

You have to do the math based on the wattage consumption of each piece of equipment. Your main light, for example, consumes around 30kwatts per month. 200-300 seems high though.

Write down the wattages of everything being used. Calculate wattage used by each device per day (watts used multiplied by hours per day). Add those totals and multiply by 30 days. This is watts per day. Divide that by 1000 for kilowatts per day.

I think you might have a neighbor with an extension cord plugged into your house. That does not add up in my head for that much electricity.

I'll look into getting one! Great idea!
I know I could calculate it but because some things are not always at full power it's hard to be accurate.
Thanks for all the replies guys!

300 kilowatts per month = 10 kilowatts per day = 400 watts per hour
200 kilowatts per month = 280 watts per hour

Yes, probably.
