Not really. What you can do is load up on actinics which will make the softies look nice. Use a couple of ATI actinic blues or Giesemann Pure Actinics in the mix. Add in a couple of Blue Plus and a UVL Aquasun and you should have a pretty cool look. You can also only run 4 lamps in the Aquactinics unit if you think it is too much for your stuff.

Does that mean that in an Aquactinic Unit you do not have to have a bulb in every bay. I mean if it is a 5 bulb hood you can use only 4 bulbs?

Yeah, the unit uses Workhorse ballasts which don't care how many lamps are running.
